ABOUT CALI

Cali Madia is an attorney at Veridian Legal, a boutique law firm dedicated to representing victims of nonconsensual pornography. Passionate about giving a voice to those who have been silenced, Cali strongly believes in empowerment through litigation. She is particularly skilled in filing motions to protect client anonymity and in writing powerful pleadings, allowing clients to reclaim the narrative. Cali also gets a thrill from identifying, unmasking, and suing individuals who post her clients’ intimate content online.

Prior to joining Veridian Legal, Cali worked as an attorney at the New York City Board of Elections. She also served as Chief of Staff to a New York State Assembly Member on the Upper East Side, where she honed her leadership, communication, and advocacy skills.

Cali lives on the Upper West Side of Manhattan with her husband, daughter, and cat.  When she’s not behind her computer or in court, she can be found in New York’s finest playgrounds instructing her child “if you can’t say something nice, say something clever but devastating.”
